A separate, optional choice

Ishtar Insights collects your email only when you check the newsletter permission box and choose “Join the newsletter.” You do not need to join to get a reading. Cookie and browser-storage choices do not sign you up for emails.

What we collect and why

We store your email address, the time of signup, the wording and version of your permission, and an unsubscribe identifier on our Bluehost-hosted VPS. This list is for the Ishtar Insights newsletter and occasional updates about new readings and features. Birth dates, birth times, birthplaces, names entered for numerology, and reading results are not submitted with your signup.

We use your permission as the basis for newsletter signup. This currently records your request; no confirmation email is sent and ownership of the address has not been verified. Please use your own email address.

Storage and access

The subscriber database is stored outside the public website directory and is accessible only to the signup service and authorized server administrators. We may transfer the list to an email delivery provider acting on our behalf when newsletter delivery is set up. We do not sell this list. We will update this notice with the provider’s details before using one.

We retain your signup until you unsubscribe or the newsletter list is discontinued. Ordinary server request logs may include connection details such as IP addresses; signup emails are sent in the request body, not in page URLs, and the signup service does not log them.

Unsubscribe or remove your signup

You can withdraw permission and remove your signup at any time using our unsubscribe page, including before any newsletter is sent. Future newsletters will also include an unsubscribe link. Withdrawing does not affect your access to readings.
